Use Your Voice!

It is imperative that each person who opposes the ridiculous "spending" bill that is before the Senate right now make contact with your Senators. The American people might actually be paying attention to this finally. The statistics are now saying that the majority of taxpaying Americans are against the bill. There is very little in this bill which will stimulate the economy.

We should all keep standing up for TAX CUTS until we see them. The tax burden on most of us is just so overbearing we are going under paying for BIG GOVERNMENT already.

Here is a link to Gary Bauer's site that writes the letter for you to your senators. You only have two to contact. It will take you all of five minutes. Please take the time to do this TODAY.

If you need more facts on the NON-stimulus stimulus bill you can read the last post on this subject for links to see exactly where Obama proposes the money be spent.

I've also copied some bullet points from Gary Bauer's newsletter below:

• The bill represents the biggest single expenditure in American history -- ever. Often referred to as an $800 billion bill, its price tag with interest is well over $1 trillion. And all that spending President Obama and the liberal Democrats are demanding in this one bill is in addition to, not part of, this year’s federal budget or this year’s federal deficit.
• The bill mandates huge increases in discretionary spending, which, if passed, will become part of future federal expenditures. Any attempt to pare back will be decried by hysterical liberals and reporters as “drastic, draconian cuts.”
• Here’s some perspective: Everyone concedes that George W. Bush spent too much money. But it took the Bush Administration more than two years and a global war on radical Islamic terrorism in the wake of the 9/11 attacks to increase the national debt by more than one trillion dollars. President Obama is on track to do it in his first month in office!

Lastly, it is important to know that Republican Senator McConnell’s disastrous GOP mortgage entitlement proposal IS NOT THE ANSWER either.

Thanks everyone for doing your part to contact your Senators. It "seems as if" America might be waking up to the facts about this BAD BILL. And it SEEMS AS IF the Senators might be getting the message that the people are not pleased with their performance recently.

Stay tuned to those reports that can be trusted like Gary Bauer who has the pulse of what is going on day by day. Not only that but his entire life is devoted to conserving pro-life family values.
