More Hopey Changey

"No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Actually, a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we'll ever see on this earth!" Ronald Reagan

In case you missed Glenn Beck's opener yesterday (I did, too) to his new TV program ... he used his whole hour to highlight America's March to Socialism... thanks to YouTube you can see it now...

Glenn Beck's show airs everyday at 5:00 EST on Fox News.

It's really vital that we stay up to date on how this slippery slope to socialism can actually happen to our great United States of America.

Some of the rhetoric we heard during the "Hopey-Changey" campaign sounds so nice. Even now it sounds so nice.

Gee, why shouldn't all those fat-cat corporate execs have a salary cap that limits executive salaries to $500,000 at any institution that accepted a government bailout? Because, my friends, as Gary Bauer reminds us "a government big enough to run Wall Street will end up running your street too."

Is that what we want?"

Bauer goes on to say, "We aren’t in trouble because some bankers are overpaid. We are in trouble because we have a government that continually grows and demands more and more of your hard-earned money. In addition, it has ordered many banks to make bad business decisions based on liberal social engineering. The subprime mortgage meltdown can be traced back to liberal Big Government policies and programs. Unfortunately, the same people who created this mess are in charge of fixing it today! Before the sun sets today, your federal government will waste more money than all the salaries of Wall Street executives put together."

"Government is like a baby. An alimentary canal with a big appetite at one end and no responsibility at the other. " Ronald Reagan

Scary isn't it? Joe and I have listened to Glenn for years now and I have admit he lays out the truth for everyone to see. Open your eyes America!

What more does this country need to see before they too become feed up? I have learned to just keep passing on the message and to trust God to open the doors.

I love this blog! I feel like I can come here and you all understand my frustrations!

I TOTALLY understand your frustration. The news out of Washington all day long has caused even more frustration. Instead of hearing the people of America Obama goes on the air tonight to chide congress for holding up his non-stimulus plan.

Why does it have to be rammed through? The longer it takes to go through the Senate the more time it gives people to really check it out and to know EXACTLY what it is WE WILL BE PAYING FOR! All that bologna about inheriting this problem... blah, blah...

It was the liberal Democrats Chris Dodd and Barney Frank and Pres. Clinton who spear-headed the subprime lending problem. Oh... it is just infuriating.

Hey, thanks for coming by and giving me a chance to rant on. LOL

Man Beck was on fire again tonight. I finally remembered to DVR it. He was reading off some of the things this Nonstimulus bill is going to pay for. It was vomit inducing.

I just love how Mr Hope is saying there is no hop if his precious bill doesn't get pushed through. What a crock. He is the antithesis of Reagan in so many ways, but his doom and gloom speeches are grating on my nerves. Step back Barrack, get out of the way, cut taxes and let the American people fix this problem you government hacks created!!!

P.S. It took me over many attempts at different times to get through to mhy Senators' offices. I took that as a good sign.

Every poll out is showing an overwhelming majority of Americans do not favor this bill, yet Obama and his cronies are not listening and trying to ram it down our throats. Whatever happened to representing the people?

Nathan Talbot,
We are DVR-ing it also.Don't always have a chance to watch it back but at least we have a choice now if we want to watch.

That fear-statement Mr. O came out with yesterday was just astonishing. IS ANYONE LISTENING TO HIS RHETORIC? The only thing the man knows how to do is campaign. He is a professional rally-er. Now he's rallying for his bill ... CONSTANTLY AND IN FRONT OF THE CAMERAS...just like Clinton. A camera hog.

Okay, deep breath.

I can only watch and listen for seconds... then I have to mute him. I keep wondering 1) if he really believes what he is saying. 2) does he really think the majority of America believes what he is saying?

If those Senators pass this bill I hope every single one that votes for it gets elected OUT OF OFFICE in 2010!

Then maybe they will know the American people are fed up with their hypocrisy.

There was a time when I wasn't sure if Barrack knew what he was doing. I thought he may be in over his head. I have come to the realization that I think he absolutely knows exactly what he is doing. He doesn't believe every word he says but will say whatever it takes to ram his agenda down the throats of the American people. I fully believe that he thinks he knows what is best for the country, even if that philosophy is in stark contrast to our Constitution and he will now use whatever means neccessary to drastically alter the course of this nation and the way it is governed.

The peoples voices must get louder to stop this non-sense in its tracks.
