What's In Your/On Your...Meme

Yvette, yet again, tagged me for the "What’s in/on your..." meme. I will try to play along even though my answers will be much less than profound.

What's in Your CD Player: Hillsong Kids Worship "Supernatural" (Track 7 is my favorite!) 120 Silly Songs for kids (Track 4 is baby's favorite, followed by 6, 8, 12, 16, and 22, the songs he asks for by name over and over and over again.) And Toby Mac "Portable Sounds" (I love Track 2, but his son's "True D.o.g." is really making my day.)

What's in Your DVD Player: "The Bourne Ultimatum" for me (FINALLY!) and "The Donut Man" for baby.

What's On Your To-Read List: The latest Vince Flynn and David Baldacci, Divorce-Proof Your Marriage by the Rosbergs, and all the other books sitting on my nightstand partially read (too many to name).

What's On Your Mind: The need to step. away. from. the. computer. so I can go wrap presents!

How'd I do?

I'd like to tag two awesome girls: one I've met personally and know quite well, the other I've met in blogland and wish I knew better.

I must be slow. What is meme?

Meems said...

i think it is mimi spelled incorrectly.

actually i had to look it up when i first began blogging and saw it used all the time. this is what Wiktionary says-
Noun
Singular
meme
Plural
memes
meme (plural memes)

Any unit of cultural information, such as a practice or idea, that is transmitted verbally or by repeated action from one mind to another. Examples include thoughts, ideas, theories, practices, habits, songs, dances and moods and terms such as race, culture, and ethnicity.
A self-propagating unit of cultural evolution having a resemblance to the gene (the unit of genetics).

I got this off of another blog:
In Blogspeak, a meme is an idea that is shared and passed from blog to blog, like a question posted in one blog and answered in many other blogs.

does that help?

I am enjoying this afternoon fun since I am waiting to head to the airport. The fact that I am increasing my vocabulary is just a bonus!
