For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace, On the throne of David and over his kingdom, To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness... From then on and forevermore.
"When God walked down the staircase of heaven with a baby in His arms He moved Him from His environment to ours so we could move from ours to His". These words struck me today as I heard them spoken today by Ed Young on his weekly broadcast.
God loved us so much that He risked His son to come to earth as a baby. The story doesn't end with Him in the manger or with Him growing up as one of us yet sinless; because He still lives today having made peace with God and man.
We wish you a very Merry Christmas celebrating the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

What an awesome quote. I love it. Ed definitely has a great way of putting things. Thanks for sharing.
NT: Can you tell I am definitely on an Ed Young kick? He is so practical and the way he shares the gospel is so innovative and yet passionate-- which grabs my attention in a refreshing way. I've learned loads from him in the past few months.
